Lorenzo Bagnati was born in Milan in 1998 to a family of musicians. Having begun studying piano at the age of four, at the age of seven he was admitted to the Benedetto Marcello Conservatory of Music, Venice, and in the same year gave his first public performance. He graduated at the age of 17 from the Benedetto Marcello Conservatory with the highest marks, cum laude and with a special mention of merit. In June 2021 he graduated with honours with a Master’s Degree at the Gnesin Russian Academy of Music, in the class of M° Denis Burshtein. He is currently a student of M° Elisso Virsaladze.

At the age of 14 he had his debut playing with La Fenice Theatre Orchestra. In 2018 he won the First Prize at the “American Protégé International Piano and String Competition” in New York and the First Prize at the “International Anton Rubinstein Piano Junior Competition” in Düsseldorf. In the last years he has won various other piano competitions: the First Prize Overall, the Prize of the Public and the Special Prize of the Amadeus Academy at the “23rd Giulio Rospigliosi National Piano Competition”; the Fist Prize Overall at the “III International Livorno Piano Competition”; the First Prize Overall at the “9th Città di Piove di Sacco National Competition”; the First Prize Overall at the “27th Città di Moncalieri International Competition”; the First Prize Overall at the “9th Jan Langosz International Competition” and the First Prize at the “Città di San Donà di Piave International Competition”.

Performs together with orchestras and gives recitals at major venues throughout the USA, Europe and Russia, such as Carnegie Hall-Weill Recital Hall, La Fenice Theatre and Moscow Conservatory. At the moment Lorenzo is touring with a soloist programme prestigious international venues in the UK, Belgium, Switzerland, Russia, Armenia, Georgia and Azerbaijan. Lorenzo has also been a jury member of several prestigious competitions, such as “The International Igor Stravinsky Competition” in Saint Petersburg.

He attended masterclasses of high specialisation with Maestros Rena Shereshevskaya, Pavel Gililov, Jonathan Biss, Lilya Zilberstein, Vladimir Tropp, Epifanio Comis, Roberto Plano, Alberto Nosè, Gabriele Carcano, Gustavo Romero, Vera Nosina and Sergey Senkov.

Gabriele Bagnati, born in Milan in 2002, began his musical path in 2009 at the “Benedetto Marcello” Conservatory of Music, Venice, in the piano class of Maestro Anna Barutti.

Since 2012 he has continued his piano studies under the guidance of Maestro Massimo Somenzi. In October 2021, at the age of 19, he graduated from the Benedetto Marcello Conservatory of Music with the highest marks.

He is currently doing a master at the “Vincenzo Bellini” Conservatory of Music, Catania, under the guidance of Maestro Epifanio Comis. He is also following and an advanced course at the “Scuola di Musica di Fiesole” under the guidance of Maestro Ėliso Virsaladze.

In 2022 he became an official artist for the label Sony Classical, with which he released his first album with over than 20 singles of piano solo and chamber music, collaborating with musicians such as Raphaela Gromes and Esther Abrami. He is continuing to release new music with Sony Classical. He already gained more than 40 million streams over all the official streaming platforms.

In March 2013, on the occasion of the project “A French look” in honor of the composer Betsy Jola, he performed some of the composer’s music in the concert hall of the Benedetto Marcello Conservatory, receiving commendation from Mrs. Jola herself, present at the concert.

In 2013 he won the “Crescere in Musica” piano competition, which led him to his debut with the Crescere in Musica Orchestra, playing the Mozart Concerto in C major KV 415.

Over the past few years he has won various national and international piano competitions, such as “Lia Tortora International Piano Competition”, “J.S. Bach National Piano Competition” and “Alberto Giol Piano Competition”.

In November 2022 he was a prize winner at the national competition “Premio Venezia” at “Teatro la Fenice” in Venice, having also the occasion to play in the main hall of “Teatro La Fenice”.

He gives regularly recitals throughout Italy and Europe. He has performed in many important halls such as Tchaikovsky Conservatory and “Sobornoaya Palata” in Moscow, “Jacqueline Du Pre Music Building” in Oxford, “Teatro La Fenice” and “Teatro Malibran” in Venice, “Saline Royale Academy concert hall” in Arc-et-Senans. He also participated to many festivals such as “Piano City Milan” and “Roma Tre Orchestra, Young artists” performing as a soloist.

He twice participated at the International Music Festival of Ljubljana.

He is an ambassador and student of the Saline Royale Academy.

He attended masterclasses of high specialisation with Maestros Antti Siirala, Brenno Adelchi Ambrosini, Gustavo Romero and Pamela Mia Paul.
