Even trash has a soul and deserves a second chance. A better life.
in a world where trash comes to life by night, we follow the adventures of a bunch of waste in pursuit of a mythical recycling bin.
In English with Chinese subtitles
Boxes, bottles, cans. Garbage. Abandoned on the road, in marketplaces, under bridges. Ignored by everyone. Inert. Until nightfall… Slim is a broken cardboard box. He lives in a market with his friend Bubbles – a cola bottle – and other companions. He survives by hiding from the “Suckers”, machines used for cleaning which inhale everything. Resigned to his fate, he doesn’t believe in anything, not even the legend of the “magic pyramid”: a magical place where it’s possible for all garbage to have a second chance, to be reborn, to be a “carrier” again, useful to themselves and others.
The highest aspiration for any container is to actually contain something. One night his life changes when a stranger interrupts his routine, a small box, Spark.
